Incorporated Builders is proud to share two key milestones in our journey towards building a more sustainable and resilient future:
✅ Publication of our first Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report
✅ Recognition through the ESBN Green badge, an initiative of the United Nations ESCAP
These achievements reflect our commitment to transparency, accountability, and long-term sustainable growth.
Our First Sustainability Report
Our inaugural sustainability report offers a comprehensive overview of our sustainability practices across projects and operations in Singapore, covering the period from 1 January to 31 December 2024.
Key highlights include:
- Energy and Emissions Management: We tracked Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions for the first time, setting a baseline for future carbon reduction.
- Water and Waste Management: We implemented water-saving technologies and waste segregation practices at all project sites, achieving measurable improvements in consumption efficiency.
- Occupational Safety and Wellbeing: We maintained a zero-accident rate across active project sites and introduced new welfare initiatives for site workers.
- Green Procurement: Suppliers are screened for green certifications such as ISO 14001 and Singapore Green Label. Materials like Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) and eco-friendly wall finishes were prioritised.
- Innovation in Sustainability: Our sites deployed electric dumpers, solar-powered systems, and energy-efficient appliances to reduce environmental footprint.
The report was prepared with reference to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards and International Financial Reporting Standard S2, and aligned with the GHG Protocol for carbon reporting.
Recognised by the United Nations
Incorporated Builders is honoured to be awarded the ESCAP Sustainable Business Network (ESBN) Green Badge, as recognition of our pledge of support towards the program.
